Ready, Fire, Aim!
Fact or Fiction?
You should aim at the apex of a breaking putt.
This statement is pure fiction! The starting line will never be the same as the apex of a single breaking putt. Using this old adage will cause you to play too little break and consequently hit your putts too hard. The graphic below shows a ball is continuously breaking the moment it leaves the putter face.

Therefore, the putt needs an AimPoint higher than the apex to roll across that point. Any putt that starts at the apex will miss below the cup. So how do you find the AimPoint?
